Adjustable Attack Angle

• The HDX™ snowplow features an adjustable attack angle that allows you to customize the blade’s angle of attack based on plowing surfaces, weather conditions or operator preference. Its boxed-in quadrant design features three attack-angle holes for easy adjustment.* *Attack angle adjustment may be limited on certain vehicles due to varying vehicle heights. Refer to your snowplow Owners Manual or FISHER® eMatch system for more details.
• Choose 55 degrees for gravel or unpaved surfaces, or for scooping deep, heavy snow.
• Choose the 75-degree angle for asphalt or paved surfaces, and for scraping up ice and hard packed snow.
• Choose 65 degrees for general plowing conditions.

Chain Lift Design

• The FISHER® chain lift design offers a wide range of performance and reliability advantages over a direct lift system.
• CLEAN SCRAPING: The chain lift design allows the blade to continuously “float” while plowing, enabling it to freely follow the contours of the plowing surface for a cleaner scrape.
• HIGHER STACKING: With a chain lift you can stack snow higher because the plow's movement is not restricted by the length of the ram stroke like on cylinder lift systems.
• RELIABILITY: With the simple mechanical chain lift design, there are fewer hydraulic and electrical components to worry about, so you can count on long life dependabililty.
• EASY RECOVERY: In the rare event of a hydraulic failure, you can push the snow plow up into a snowbank and “short chain” it to the specially designed bracket for safe transport back to the shop.

Unique Features

• PLOW BLADE CONSTRUCTION: Available in 8' and 9' widths, the 29" tall HDX™ snow plow blade is made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel that performs as good as it looks. A standard high-carbon steel cutting edge provides increased wear resistance.
• STRUCTURAL REINFORCEMENT: The HDX™ snowplow is constructed with a total of eight vertical ribs welded into a rigid framework. The two inner ribs and base angle have additional reinforcement which provides increased structural support when attacking winter's worst.
• ARTICULATING A-FRAME: With an articulating A-Frame*, the HDX™ snow plow pivots from side to side allowing the blade to follow the contours of the plowing surface for a cleaner scrape and improved cutting edge wear. The system is built on a heavy-duty steel pivot beam for superior strength, and features a 1" diameter pivot bolt for rugged reliability. A stabilizing leaf spring helps keep the mounting points level with the plow for easy drive-in alignment on uneven surfaces. *Articulating A-Frame not applicable to skid-steer attachments.
• RELIABLE HYDRAULICS: We produce our own hydraulic system to ensure the highest standards of performance, quality and reliability, giving you a plow that is fast, responsive and built to last. All critical hydraulic components are fully enclosed for protection from the elements.
• TRIP PROTECTION: Our industry-leading trip-edge design protects you and your equipment when encountering hidden obstacles. For improved efficiency and less cleanup, only the bottom edge trips, keeping the blade upright and plowed snow in front of the blade. The FISHER® trip edge uses compression-type springs that never require adjustment and will not wear out like extension springs.

Universal Features

• MINUTE MOUNT® 2 SNOWPLOW MOUNTING SYSTEM: The reliable, mechanical attachment design of the Minute Mount® 2 snowplow mounting system allows for easy hook-up with no tools required and no electrical switches to fail and leave you struggling out in the cold. The vehicle mounts and lower gear are flared both vertically and horizontally to ensure proper alignment and make the drive-in connection easier. Simply raise the pin release handle and push on the headgear to pop the pins into place. Then, raise the jack, snap it into place and plug in the electrical connectors.
• FLEET FLEX ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: The FLEET FLEX system provides easy operation, increased reliability, simple wiring and easy installation. Addtional features include programmable "soft-stop," "one-touch" float, and built-in SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System.
• SECURITY GUARD™ ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM: The exclusive SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System is a safe and secure way to electronically lock your snow plow whenever it is detached from your truck. Unlike physical locks that can easily be cut or removed, the system provides a deterrent against theft by allowing you to electronically lock the snow plow's hydraulic functions, rendering your plow inoperable to unauthorized users.
• UNIVERSAL CONTROL OPTIONS: Choose between the ergonomic Fish-Stik® handheld control or the dash-mounted joystick control based on your preference. Both feature automatic shutoff, backlit buttons for night operation, and LED lights which indicate "power" and "float" mode. Additional features include programmable "soft-stop," "one-touch" float, built-in SECURITY GUARD™ Anti-Theft System, and plug-in connector for easy removal.
• INTENSIFIRE™ HALOGEN HEADLAMPS: State-of-the-art reflector optics provide a smooth, wide beam pattern that illuminates the entire plowing surface, with minimal glare above the lamp, especially during snowfall. INTENSIFIRE™ halogen headlamps feature combination park and turn signal lights that conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. Your vehicle light switch activates the plow lights so a separate in-cab switch is not needed. The headlamps are held firmly in place with a two-stud mounting bracket, to maintain proper alignment even under harsh shock and vibration forces. Reflector optics provide a smooth, wide beam pattern with minimal glare, giving the operator a clear view of the entire plowing area in front. An adhesive bond helps seal out water between the lens, reflector and housing to prevent damage. The INTENSIFIRE'S H13 long-life halogen bulbs have an average life of 1,500 hours, and are easy to replace through a simple three-screw bulb access cover.
• ISOLATION MODULE: An underhood module transfers lights from vehicle to plow automatically and improves system reliability by using plug 'n play, sealed electrical connections that comply with OEM requirements. Isolating the plow's electrical system from the vehicle's prevents the potential of electrical system damage in the event of a shorted circuit.
